Winter has set in here in Kentucky. Here are a couple shots I captured over the past few days. The first one is one of tens of thousands of little ice globes that were in the twigs, grass and reeds surrounding a local lake. At th risk of being too "trite" they did look like thousands of diamonds in the sunshine. I do love frosty and sparkly mornings. The second is a stream that flows close to home. As ou can see the shore is quite steep and the ice and snow made getting to a lower angle treacherous at best so I took this from the little bridge that crosses the stream. I was attracted to how the strongest current in the middle of the stream had the thinnest ice.
