A few jaguars from a while ago

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

Since I am new to the site it has been fun to go through some old images and find some things to post. Here are some jaguars we saw on a trip to the Pantanal a while back. The first one really gave us a Nat Geo moment - early the first morning we came on a large male who was hunting caiman. in the blink of an eye he nabbed it, rolled around a bit and then cracked it skull before dragging it up over the bank. the female in the next image we followed for a while and saw her make several attempts but never caught anything. None of them looked under fed and understood when we saw how many caiman were around.
