Several of the following images were taken from a vehicle with a side door that opened down so that you could lay on the floor of the vehicle and shoot at eye level. rather than down at the animal. A very different perspective! Also, take a close look at the lion. This fellow has been around.

Fantastic images. On the last, is that lighted or did you edit this?
Charles, the lion was lighted. The two vehicles form and "L" and while one illuminates the animal the other shoots and then they switch jobs. I did need to do a bit of editing as the light that was used that evening had a bit of a yellow cast to it so I needed to bring it back toward white a little.

We were with Piper Mackay Photo Safaris. Can't say enough things about how well every detail of the safari was handled.
