My wife and I spent a few days in the Swiss alps in September of 2019. That was our last international travel before Covid shut things down. So beautiful. We were amazed at how high some of the villages are and how accessible the mountains are. But our frame of reference is Alaska with very few roads.

Yeah, we've got public transportation figured out, although sadly it's getting more expensive by the year..
