i was photographing the deer standing still when another darted out and jumped right over .

the luck was in the fact that i took the 24-70 not expecting to shoot any wildlife that day . or i would have had the 600mm. and been way to close

plus being focused on that deer which was stationary had me at a pretty low shutter speed …

i have missed focus on stuff i saw coming more times then i can count and this i never saw coming
