A mishap? Capsized boat ~ Fraser Island

Saw this stranded/capsized boat on our way to the sleeping flat on Frazer Island. It must have happened shortly before we arrived, as the one gent was still enjoying liquid refreshment; the next morning, it was boat-down in the water! D800; 16-35 F/4 and 24-120 F/4;

Wow, what a shame that this boat was lost to sea. Callie I think you have a rare set of photos documenting the vessel's decline. The last 2 photos are stunning

The boat was recovered and towed into port for "assessment and repair" tho it took a few attempts to get her afloat again. The Internet can be a wonderful thing :) Caillie, love this series of shots!
 
Fantastic set of images... a real shame about the boat!. Hopefully they are able to get it righted and out fo there before it spilled any oil / fuel.
