Hi all

Just saying hello with this image of a Nankeen Night Heron captured at Lake Joondalup, Perth, Western Australia.

This bird posed on a branch of a paperbark tree, in a natural spotlight. Processing in Capture One helped reduced the very bright highlights.

Image details are: Nikon D800 with the Nikon 200 - 500 f/5.6 at 500mm, 1/1250sec, f/5.6 and ISO 2200.
