A selection of Sunbirds

Taken on a recent trip to a local Aloe farm to photograph Sunbirds which were present during the flowering season of the local Aloe plants.
A variety of Sunbirds were present, but quite shy, and very fast in moving between the flowers.

Nice images, Gavin. Seems you have quite the variety of different sunbirds there, almost like hummingbirds in Central and South America.

Yes ,we do have a good variety of Sunbirds and it was nice to be able to get some images of these - about an hour from where I live near Hartebeespoort dam.

How is Harties doing nowadays? At one stage it was overgrown with hyacinth.
