A sign of how the birdlife locally has changed so much over the last couple of decades. When I first developed an interest in birding and got back into photography back in the mid to late 90's to see a Little Egret here in the North of England was a really special day. Oh how things have changed Little Egrets are now incredibly common and we now have Spoonbills, Great White Egrets and in increasing numbers Cattle Egrets locally.
This was one of two Great White Egrets from the other day.
