Thank You DR I made a proper pigs ear of the settings but the D850 saved my Bacon LOL The camera has such terrific range that when you do make a hash of things there is usually something there to be salvaged . All the gear and no idea LOL.

In the end, only the image matters

But each and every one of these oops moments teaches you something or reminds you of another thing to check when out in the field. FWIW, I've done similar things so many times I always take a moment to quickly glance at blinkies and the histogram for images where I have a chance to take more than one quick sequence of shots. That's a habit learned the hard way

Yep the weather sure can be challenging here, sometimes all four seasons in an hour Callie LOL , generally here in the East Midlands its not too bad.
