Adobe Camera Raw not reading CF Express A cards

I have been using the Sony A1 with SD cards but recently switched to CF Express A cards. When I download the images from the express card to my iMac via a card reader I am not able to read the images in Photoshop or ACR. I have the 2023 version of photoshop. My IMac is 7 yrs old. Planning on buying a new Mac this year. Haven’t downloaded the 2024 version of Photoshop yet. Dont know if this issue has been covered before.

Are you trying to read the images directly from the card, or did you first copy them to your iMac? And was ACR able to previously read the same files from the same camera on the SC cards?

Identified the problem. I had photoshop 2023 which was not reading the card after camera firmware update. Now I updated photoshop to 2024 version and everything is fine. Did not think that camera firmware update will cause card reading issue
