That's a nice one, George. Love the light coming through the wing and the 3d look. The BG is pretty distracting particularly the bright branch above the left wing and the bright greenery at upper left of frame.

Yes lots of distracting elements here but I really don't try and alter any images much other than a few tweaks to vibrance etc. I was really concentrating on the Eagle and I was in a boat so not much I could do. I could play with the branch but takes too much time just to post a photo. If I wanted it for my wall maybe I would ! 🥰 Anyway Thank You very much!

Nice rim light.

Your photo answered my question as to how the 100-400 handles a TC. I have been finding myself in situations the past few days that a 100-400 S might be in my future. My workaround right now is adding a 2x TC to my 70-200 2.8 S.

It's really a very handy lens! I also bought a set of extension tubes (kenko) for close up work on flowers, butterflies and dragonflies etc but haven't tried them yet.
