Found this beautiful moth on the windscreen of my mine vehicle yesterday, captured it and released it safely in my garden.
Then took the D500 for a walk mounted with the old 200mm AF Micro.

Thanks peachfront for looking, and yes, laden with eggs. I suspect she was later taken by a bird, a juicy meal for a hungry predator!
