My loving, patient wife gave me a pass to head west to Kananaskis to catch the fall colours, maybe an elk or moose in the rut and anything else I could point the camera at. Light was Ok not great but I did get a couple of shots. Also a couple of the feathered variety.
The bird is a Whisky Jack aka Canada Jay (our unofficial national bird) aka Gray Jay. I put the shots here because they were nothing special but part of a very pleasant fall afternoon. Hope nobody's offended.
The first mountain is Mt. Lorette shot from the Lorette ponds. The last shot is Mt. Yamnuska shot from Middle Lake. Focus stacked using my 20mm 1.8. I'm trying to improve my composition using this lens. I find wide angle shots the trickiest to visualize.
