Deer are not generally my first choice for wildlife. If I can somehow get a decent shot of one, which seems hard to do, then I'll go for it. A couple of months ago there was a doe and twin fawns around. I think I saw them the first day she brought them out but I could never get a shot afterwards. Yesterday they were around again and, while getting bigger, were still cute. I managed to grab a couple of head shots of the fawns and then everyone bounded away into the brush. The one shot, looking through the fence, I liked (and actually felt bad about) because the fawn looked so wistfully at my garden through the fence. Tomorrow I'll pull the tomato plants and hope they find them! I call the headshot, "All Ears."
