American Kestrel female and fading autumn colours

Autumn is slowly transitioning to the winter greyl lands in my area. Spent the day photographing my favourite little raptor to take advantage of the disappearing fall colours. This little female is an exceptional hunter, catching everything from grasshopper, crickets and voles.
