American Kestrel spotted near my home

After spending 4 hours at Cherry Creek State Park and Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, I spotted this kestrel two blocks from my house on the drive home. I drove past the tree it was perched on, got my camera ready and then drove back by in my car and took this photograph of the kestrel from my car. This was the only decent photograph I got this day (12/28/2024).
