I watched as this American Kestrel flew in from a power line to catch a mouse. He soon started to eat the rodent. I was able to get some photo's from my vehicle.

Superb shot.
We had a common kestrel ( at Hyderabad @ India in Feb 2020) which came down with a rat very close to us.It saw us after it landed and could not fly out with its big rat catch and started eating it after dragging it under a small rock.Though we were so near we could not get any good shots since we did not want ti change our position and scare the bird.Hence we just enjoyed the breakfast show for about 45 minutes
