D500 with Tamron 150-600mm @ 600mm f7.1. ISO 200 1/500 sec., handheld on river boat. --- Related to the Chacma Baboons, but are smaller with a less elongated muzzle. They are diurnal, terrestial, and live in mixed-gender groups of 8 to 200 individuals, confined to East Africa. This shot illustrates their strong maternal instincts. 06/09/17.
