I just bought above secondhand. Just want to give it a try while I’m off to Vancouver with my wife. I was just wondering if anyone uses something different than the DJI Mimo app? You hear all kind of stories about it being intrusive.

Got one (the 3) and it's a fun camera. Not a political statement: with DJI, regardless of software, your data and images are going to China. Nothing you can do about it, it's how it is built. So if you're okay with that (I am), Mimo is your best choice. A very cohesive app and extends your control quite a bit.
