Using live composite during lightning storm gives wonderful results I don’t completely understand. OMD-EM1 mk2, 1 second exposures for about 30 seconds. North Texas, Aug. 2023

Great photo! Can you explain what live composite is?
Olympus and Panasonic, and maybe others offer this feature in some models. Camera stacks images on top of each other, but only records new light creating a single composited image. Great for lightning, fireworks, street scenes at night and light painting. Shutter speed of 1/2 sec. Or slower is required for live composite. Image builds on LCD and you stop the sequence when you are satisfied. Thanks. C. Baxter
