Thanks everyone for all your replies. In talking to Nikon trying to narrow down the field of questions, I've come to discover that both the engineers are more in the optical end of things than the camera end. So, I'm going to be focusing on questions about lenses. I have a plenty of questions thanks to this thread, so I'll be forwarding them to Nikon today. I'm not sure when I'll get the answers, but as soon as I do I'll post it all here at the forum and on the main site.
