Australian King Parrot

Went into the rainforest today chasing Noisy Pitta's... unsuccessfully! Stopped for lunch on the way back off the hill and got this lovely male King Parrot. These are pretty common on the east coast of Australia, mainly in the moist tall forest areas but come down in the cooler months. We get them visit out yard in winter to munch on out winter tomatoes.
