In Ngama Malyan (Valley of the Eagle) four Wedge-tailed Eagles were soaring.
Their wingspan grows to 2.5m. These are younger birds; after 6-8 years they are black and white.
In my climb to the summit one came down and circled around me close enough for us to count each other's whiskers (well, almost).
Ngama Malyan is in Gundabooka NP in NSW. Shot with Sony A7R III, Sony 100-400mm + 1.4x TC.

I was thinking 'Oh, man' and I expect it was thinking 'No, probably not edible'.

Actually it was thinking : "I can pull this on off, I can eat for a week!" :sneaky:
