Spectacular colors from last fall. Hoping this season will get close to matching those colors!

The sheer vividness of the colors in the afternoon light made this a challenge to work with - so many beautiful parts of the image! I tried several angles and compositions, but liked this one best, then did a lot of shaping in post.

I posted very high resolution on Flickr if you'd like to click over. More info about the large amount of post processing I had to do to pull out the compositional elements I saw.

Gorgeous colors. The orange tree in b/g - as pretty as it is- seems to draw my attention away from the leaves. Maybe soften or blend it? Still - this is very pretty. Anxious for Autumn!
