This area, located 30 miles east from Quebec City, as been created long ago by Canada government to protect the American bulrush marshes that serve as the primary habitat of the greater snow goose during migration periods; in that period of the year, snow geese concentrate on the shores of Saint-Lawrence River (more on the right on the photo); it's also an important corridor for other birds migration.

Lovely scene, love the Cyrus clouds and that band of gold across the hills!

Thank you Callie for your feedback! Here are the snow geese; I took this photo last spring not very far from the wildlife area; at this period, food is less affordable and birds are not hunted, so they disperse less.
