As of today B&H has the generation 1 A1 marked down $1500 which is a steal for the camera if someone wants to go that route.

Priced now right on top of the Z9 without grip and slightly above with grip, which makes a lot of sense.
Yeah, 5500 is where I think the second generation should be priced and I think after they take a beating like they do with the A93 it might open their eyes. i’ve talked to people at three different locations now they just told me the pre-orders are very light. I just got a email a few days ago from where I put in a pre-order and said mine was in the first shipment if I wanted it, but I don’t think there’s any way I’m going to take it.
