On one recent morning the sun was in a position to backlight many of the blossoms on nearby apple trees. I took some photos while I had the chance. These photos were taken with my Nikon D500 + Sigma 100-400mm combination that I use for many different types of photos.
As a bonus, I was photographing this red-flowering currant blossoms when an interloper suddenly appeared - an Anna's Hummingbird.
