On a cool day, made worse by an incessant wind, this Snowy Egret seemed content to perch on this Cypress Knee and warm up. However, something in the weeds/water caught its interest for a bit and the bird went into hunting mode. It never captured anything before a Great Blue Heron flew by and disturbed the Snowy enough to leave its perch.
