Very specific, appreciate but not asking for alternatives or theory.

D5 with RRS L-bracket with 500PF. Does it fit the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 22L backpack? It's the height of the body I am most concerned with.

Presume you mean the larger 16" model. I don't yet have this bag, but it fits a 400 f2.8 and more besides. So your pair should fit.

Thank you. With battery grip? How much room to spare height-wise? I believe that the 5+RRS is about an inch taller than the 500+grip.
