I try to get out every week to take some photos of the Bald Eagle Pair and their chicks near the house. When I get close, the adults see me and jump off the tree and disappear. Today I tried to sneak up and only got close enough to get a few shots before I was detected by the posted sentry. This is a shot of one of the eagles letting me know they had me spotted. Moments later, the bird leaped off the branch and disappeared behind a tree. I took a few shots of one of the chicks but the adults didn't come back. I don't like to hang around near the nest too long so I left after about 5 min. There's always tomorrow. These birds are beautiful. I keep trying to catch them in flight. Didn't make my goal today.
