You caught full extension in that first one. Sure was a small branch for such a big bird. They are amazing birds. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it was a small branch but it was probably the best one he could have sat on for the pond he was hunting. He just barely gave me time to get set up before he took off. I wish I had been able to get my shutter speed up a little more.

That first image is unique. I don't remember seeing a take off caught that high in the wing expansion. That is a cool image.
