Very cool photo, George. I've seen it first hand but as far as I can recall this is the first photo I've seen of an eagle taking waterfowl. Well done.

I've seen them grab coots a couple times. In Alaska my wife and I saw one grab some kind of duck way out on a lake. Only photos I have are one grabbing a coot but it was about 1/4 mile out in a lake. Cropped in to see what is going on makes a low quality image.
