I found out today how difficult it is to get the camera to focus in the snow coming down on all my gear while an eagle is in flight! Shots from Homer, AK, all were being fed to attract them but all were wild. Camera is a Z8 with Nikon 100-400 lens. It is not easy shooting in the snow!

Oh. No need. I assume you mean crossed the bay by boat. So not Anchor Point. I was just curious. Did they put you out on the beach or did you shoot from the boat?
