I continue to be very happy with this combination.

The more I shoot with the Z9 and understand it's capabilities and settings, the more proficient I am getting.

Quite a distance, 800mm, f.7.1, 1/2000, ISO 200.

That's a very nice image but ... Unless you cropped the original it shows the weakness of using a prime and why I much prefer zooms even if the image quality is somewhat lower; I'd like to see more space around the birds but with a prime you take what circumstances give you. On my computer the image seems overexposed but that may just be on my end.

I have a tendency to crop tight, like this. This is a nice image, but a bit more editing would seriously improve it.

Some nice detail there. As others have mentioned the image could be much improved with some post processing.
