Banded darters are becoming more widespread in the Netherlands. beautiful species. They show typical darter behaviour that make them fairly easy to photograph; they regularly return to the same perch so I could just lie down in the grass and wait for it to return. The Z 100-400 really shines for this kind of stuff.
