Just back from a week in Bamfield, British Columbia photographing wildlife in and around Barkley Sound. While whales and sea lions were scarce, apparently due to unseasonably cold water temperatures, there were plenty of black bears, harbor seals, birds and other critters to keep my camera busy
This black bear was foraging in the intertidal zone at low tide and photographed from a moving Zodiak.
