Got this early morning 28 July 24.

Don't no if it's me but can see a blue tinge on the wing edges?

Yes, there’s definitely a blue tinge that is not present in the face of the owl. There’s also a pronounced blue edge on the shoulders. The feathers could be because they are somewhat translucent, the shoulders I can’t explain.

I am thinking it caused by just the sunlight, was early morning 0630hrs, sun was quite strong, have other images taken within a 30 minute spell and most look as should.

Great shot!

If you’re trying to get rid of the blue tinge you might try masking the area (if your editing program allows) with the blue tinge and warming the white balance a little.

If you have Lightroom, you could also try selecting blue on the HSL panel and reducing the saturation.

I’m certainly no expert but that’s what I’d try!
