Our deck at home backs to woods. We hear the bared & great horned owls all the time and I'm certain they nest nearby. We rarely put eyes (or glass) on them. I happened to catch this one resting on the closest tree to the deck. So close I had to stop, take off the TC, and walk to the other side of the deck to get him in frame. He was not really bothered by us talking and walking around on the deck which also surprised me.
