Thanks, Ira. There is so much wildlife in Africa that opportunities literally present themselves around every corner when on safari. Unless one is specifically after fast-moving animals and BIF, almost any camera will suffice as long as one has a decent lens. Looking through my safari images I got some great shots with the Nikon D7000 (16 MP), D7100 (24 MP), and D7500 (20 MP). I could get close enough that a 500mm (750mm equivalent on the crop sensors) lens worked well. I would love to go back now with the Z8 and also try to get action shots of some animals and birds.

Thanks, Karen. I don't know enough about these birds to be able to tell the sex of the couple. I would hope that they are a breeding pair, but I don't know for sure.
