So I know that the z6III doesn't come with a battery charger for the EN-E15 C battery. I've never been comfortable with the idea of charging the camera directly - who knows maybe I just need reassurance. But in addition I would consider needing a second battery. It would be more convenient I think if I could have a charged battery ready and available sitting on a charger. Thoughts? Opinions?

Nikon MH-34 should do the job... At home I have connected it to the Mac (usb-c cable), and in the field the iPad Pro charger is used for power delivery.
Trouble is finding the MH-34. And just to clarify. - what do you connect to the Mac -Camera?

just remember it needs a power delivery (pd) rated charger of 15w or more and a pd rated cable. also note the mh-34 will not charge batteries that will not charge in-body

How about The Nikon MH-25a Battery Charger is a wall charger for the EN-EL15 and EN-EL15a/b/c lithium-ion batteries. B&H has them for $49.95

it works fine, but it’s bigger and bulkier than the mh-34. as long as you’re using en-el15c batteries, i’d prefer the mh-34

If you can’t find the mh-34 would be a good second option. Also it will charge EN-EL15 and the a/b/c, at least according to B&H. At about half the cost of the mh-34.
I don't give second thought to plugging the camera, like I don't give a second thought to charging a phone. But I always carry more than one battery and I always use a charger as well to make sure I have enough batteries in the morning before a shoot.

And don’t be concerned about charging the battery in-camera. It works fine and is safe. Just remember not to leave a fully charged battery in the camera for days on end when the camera is connected to a power adapter.
