I happened upon the mule deer buck seen in this photo right after sunrise. It was overcast, this buck was photographed in a hollow, my shutter speed was set too high, the buck was far away, and it was only visible to me for a very short time. Still, I was thankful just to see it, and was told by one of the other photographers present that people have driven from other states to photograph it, which I can believe. I will hopefully get to see it again as it frequents the park where this photo was taken.
