I was out this morning at Sweetwater Wetlands, a created wetlands next to a sewage treatment plant in Tucson, Arizona. I go here hoping for bobcats and coyotes and did see one coyote, but it turned away from me before I could get a shot. Instead I focused on birds - these are all from this morning. Presented alphabetically, they are:
American wigeon
belted kingfisher
Gambel's quail
ladder-backed woodpecker
northern pintail
red-winged blackbird
Wilson's snipe
