Black bears love salmon just as much as their more popular, larger brown cousins. When boating this time of year we see a lot of them. Here are a few shots of opportunity over the past couple of weeks.
1) It's difficult to judge the size of black bears from a distance. One clue is the apparent size of their ears which tend to be in inverse proportion to the overall size of the bear. This is a little guy.
2) Not huge but a little larger. Extreme high ISO shot.
3) Where are those fish?
4) This one spotted me.
5) Coming down to the creek.
6) Stand up guy.
