A beautiful bird with a lovely call, we often see it flying but it seldom allowed us near enough to get an image.
Images are from Tsokwane Picnic spot, Kruger NP, early one morning, where he led me a merry chase to follow his foraging through the foliage.

Dave, I think you are right, Hawk moths quite common but unfortunately, where I live in the big city, insects are killed off with no regards to the birds. So it is magic when we see them in the parks!
