Black Skimmer returning to nest with a meal

I notice while waiting for the osprey to return to the nest that several black skimmers were heading away from the water and they were all heading in the same direction with a fish in their beak. I can only assume that they were heading back to their nest to feed their young. This went on for at least a half hour.

Thanks Chris. For 4 years I’ve only seen skimmers fish once. Now in 2 weeks I’ve had multiple chances.
