I was taking a walk in a suburban neighborhood yesterday evening when I found a group of black-tailed deer eating grass in an empty lot. I used my D500 and Sigma 100-400mm lens to get these photographs. These are some of my favorites from that encounter.

The only wildlife I encounter on walks in my neighbourhood is usually being loaded into a police van :) Nice shots.
I was in another city when I took these photos. Deer walking around that neighborhood in the Spring is fairly common. I am more likely to see a coyote in my neighborhood. And wildlife going into police vans is not uncommon here as well. ;-)
