Birders across western Montana have been flocking just south of Missoula to get a glimpse of a very cooperative hatch-year Black-throated Blue Warbler that showed up 3 days ago. This stunner is way out of normal range, and late in the season at that. I haven't seen one in about 3 years since I moved out west, so getting to see this absolutely gorgeous species again was an absolute treat
