Blue-green Metallic Bee

A 3/16 inch blue-green metallic bee found itself photographed today. Olympus E-M10 ii, Lumix 45-150mm with 26mm extension tube, 1/100 sec, f11, ISO 400, handheld.

I think that's a sweat bee. :unsure:

That's what they're usually called, I'm pretty sure this one is the blue-green metallic bee (Chrysis angolensis), a European species that's spreading across North America. It's one of many species of small blue or green bees that pollinate flowers and are often attracted to our perspiration and so are called sweat bees.
