Bobcat with flowers in the grass. Taken at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.
This was taken pretty much as you see it, there might be the slightest cropping. I was very close to the Bobcat, maybe 25 feet away. Then it ran right by me.
It was taken with a monopod very low to the ground with a Nikon D850 and Tamron 150-600 @ 1/1250 - f7.1 - ISO 1000

Great shot Ira, surprisingly short ear tufts on this cat, and yet it doesn't look like a particularly young specimen -- do you know if this is normal for the bobcats in this area ?
